As more people decide not to buy $4-a-gallon gas and start pedaling to work, road rage seems not to have been left behind. This NYT article, "Moving Targets," covers the increasing Car v Bike tensions.
I hate to admit this, but I have had my own share of taxi-induced road rage.
Be safe out there...

Vegetable Oil Road Trip - The Lost Tapes
A while back, I mentioned that we had recorded an interview with KUNM, the University of New Mexico's radio station. It actually aired a few weeks ago - here is the audio file (you'll need RealPlayer to play it - yuck!). Enjoy!
File size: 3.7 MB
Total play time: 7:20

Today only: listen to us on the radio/web -Ooops!
Update: Sorry, it was just a recording session - we'll let you know when it gets broadcast.
If you're in the Albuquerque area today, give KUNM (89.9FM) a listen.
If you're not in Albuquerque, go to KUNM's website and click the "listen" link on the top left.
We'll be doing an interview around noon mountain time!

Media Mention
If you are in New Mexico, and can find a copy of the March issue of Prime Time: For New Mexicans 50 Plus, there should be an article by Maria Elena Alvarez about our trip!
Unfortunately, it looks like the article is not online. I'll look to see if we can get permission to reprint the article here.

Update:
Sorry: we went to Monroe, not Monona - original post has been updated to reflect this.

Love, Money, and Announcements
I have the distinct pleasure of announcing our first corporate sponsor: iGo® universal power adapters and mobile accessories.
We will actually be using one of their Juice power adapters to keep the powerbook and cellphones topped off while we're driving about. It's a pretty handy thing to have around.
We have also started up a press kit area on the homepage. Send all your media-type friends there to see our press releases and news clippings.
Also, we finished shooting our second video tonight (I'm beat...), so we should have it edited and posted soon-ish - this weekend, I hope. It's called "The Conversation."

In the news
I wondered where that extra traffic was coming from - on January 8th, our local weekly, the Isthmus, mentioned us as "soon-to-be former Madisonians."

"...the pair identifying themselves solely as Sacha and Mary are planning to drive a converted 1982 Mercedes Benz 300DT more than 6000 miles to educate and evangelize folks more than 20 cities about the fuel alternatives. Calling it the Vegetable Oil Road Trip, they're hitting the road on March 29."Welcome Isthmus readers, and thanks for our first ever media mention.
